About

‘To keep your marriage brimming, with love in the loving cup, whenever you’re wrong admit it; Whenever you’re right shut up.’ -Ogden Nash

My husband and I are recently out of the newlywed phase of our marriage and have also become parents. Our journey brought us pleasantly surprising and disheartening, alarming things along the way. I wanted to share a few of these lessons and build a support group for young wives all over the world and decided to do so via this website.  Marriages can often be whimsical and fulfilling experiences that may make you feel like the luckiest person in the world. They can also be very arduous, disappointing and simply exhausting! Yet, we never leave or give up and continue on with the fight of our lives with our loves. The image of marriage today isn’t great but a union based on love can be very promising and beneficial to either party(ies) involved. So often relationships end over fickle matters and as such it would be great to emphasize and shed light on what it really means to be married.

I’ve often had a million questions along the way and a million pieces of advice for women about to take the plunge.  We will do so with our community ‘Wives ‘r’ us’, swap quick practical recipes with ‘Whip up a meal’, talk shop ‘Mamas’ and we’ll divulge details regarding every girls dreams with ‘Wedding Wise’! I hope you will feel comfortable enough to share and support this blog! I look forward to welcoming you all to the Modern Wives Club!

Cheers, to good vibes!

A wife should always strive to be the most interesting thing in her husband’s day.’-Nicole Brown
